Abstract

The sliding frame is of the type used with doors, verandah doors or windows etc. There is a double blind frame, one section of which can tilt or swivel about a horizontal or vertical axis, with the aid of offset hinge strips, beams and retaining loop shackles in the top or bottom part. Special composite shaped-sections units are fitted, interconnected to form fixed and sliding frames, the latter having holes shaped-sections on the inside. The components shaped-sections units consists of aluminium central shaped-sections, cladded with external ones, and operating in conjunction with a contact surface section, screening section, spacer section and the holes inside sections all inserted into one another. Less material is used, and assembly is simple, esp. whire glazing is concerned.
