Abstract

The can outlet valve has a housing with a cylindrical wall, with connectors securing it to the can, and a partly protruding actuator with a spray nozzle at its outer end and an axial passage connecting the nozzle via the valve with the interior. The spray head has a tongue near the nozzle linking the actuator with the housing. The actuator partly engages in guides on the inside of the sidewall on either side of the spray opening. The guides can be situated in a plane below the actuator and at right angles to it. The tongue and the housing sidewall can have respectively a recess and a protrusion, engaging together to secure the nozzle end of the actuator at a height where the nozzle is opposite the spray opening.
