Abstract

A reinforced fixing clamp which allows the rapid fixing of a part with a hole in it under a support, by means of a single bolt, uses a single part, L shaped which gives permanent wedging of the piece below or on its support and the prevention of the piece sliding. The method of wedging uses a transverse boss and the method of preventing sliding uses two symmetrical bosses. The lateral bosses increase the resistance of the longer length part of the strap to wearing away. This clamp overcomes many of the difficulties experienced with normal clamps and is quicker in used.
