Abstract

Apparatus for supplying large quantities of hot and cold water simultaneously includes a condenser for a refrigerating fluid to preheat a portion of the water to be heated, a heating device to heat this preheated portion by heat exchange between the refrigerated gas at high pressure and the preheated water, a compressor to compress the refrigerated gas at a high pressure an evaporator to evaporate the refrigerating fluid condensed by the condenser, a refrigerator to cool a portion of the water to be cooled by heat exchange between the refrigerating fluid which is evaporated and the water to be cooled and includes a set of tube for the refrigerant flow as well as a system of tubes for conveying the water.
