Abstract

The vertical packaging is for folded objects, for example paper or cloths. The package comprises a stiff backing card with a flap attached to it, the flap forming a space in which to locate the object. Other strips, attached to the flap, form other retaining locations. The flap and the retaining strips are attached to the backing card using panels of material to compensate for the thickness of the material packaged. The strips are vertical and on either side of the flap and the thickness compensating panel for the strips connects the base of the two strips and support the bottom edge of the folded object.
