Abstract

A boiler, fed with air by suction, has an air inlet under the burner and a turbine connected by a pipe to the chimney. A homogeniser is fitted between the air inlet and the burner, consisting of a cone with a perforated lateral wall. A second homogeniser is fitted at the top of the chimney. An auxiliary air feed pipe enters the suction pipe under the second homogeniser, and is fitted with a valve to allow the auxiliary air flow to be adjusted. The discharge from the turbine goes to a hopper in a treatment chamber where it is subjected to a stream of water. The resulting suspension is discharged from the bottom of the hopper downwards and the pure gas discharged from the top, from where it can be recycled to the boiler. The combustion is homogeneous and balanced. The gases and dusts from the combustion are cooled efficiently. Combustion is complete and only a small discharge chimney is needed. The atmosphere is not polluted.
