Abstract

A wood burning stove designed for complete combustion and for prevention of moisture on the flue pipe, has a hopper (1) which can be filled with cut wood, with a converging lower part, terminating in a tubular distillation chamber (4) which is refractory coated, and with holes (5) through it for primary air. At the bottom of the tube is a grid (8) connected to an automatic vibrator (9). Under the tube is a divergent ring (12) with holes (7) for secondary air, and the gases are drawn up around the edge through a set of tubes (18) forming a jacket, to pass through a collector (19) at the top into an ejection tube (21) with a central venturi portion (22) fed with a jet of air from a fan (11).
