Abstract
The liquid fuel burner (6) supplies atomised fuel to the combustion chamber such as to produce a flame (8). The water injection nozzle (9) produces an atomised spray of water (15) directed to the hottest part of the flame where the water droplets will flash off into vapour. The water nozzle has a water passage (10) leading to an outlet (14). The flow is regulated by means of a valve ball (13) kept in position by a spring (12). The spring compression is adjusted by means of the adjusting ring (11) screwed into the nozzle.
