Abstract
The anti-personnel missile, such as a grenade, has a selector which can be set to give explosion on impact or above ground. Behind the main charge is a flanged body (4) which encloses the fuse, inside which travels a slider (5) with a spring (9) around it, with a detonator (6) and the striker (8) at the front and stopped by a radial plunger (10) with a second spring (11) behind it. On impact a ball (13) at the rear expands a ring (12) and frees the slider, so as to actuate the detonation of one of two primary charges (14, 15) which respectively actuate the detonator (6), or an intermediate charge (16), to explode a main solid charge (20), or a ring-shaped plastic charge (23), in the nose. The selector has a ring-shaped part, retained by a circlip (24) which is rotated to position a plunger (25) and spring (26) which actuates the primary charge (14, 15).
