Abstract

The device to discharge anti-personnel missiles such as metal shot, etc. is a rocket which contains an explosive charge at the front and rear (104, 122). The rear charge (104) is a propulsive charge, and the front charge (122) is an impact operated charge. The centre section (14) has the material to be scattered (144) formed as a ring around a third explosive charge (142). At the front end of this section (142) is a disc shaped detonating charge (146) by which it is ignited. The front charge (122) can be hollow, with its detonator charge (128) inside. This in turn detonated by an impact charge (130) in the nose. The explosive charges are of propergol powder.
