Abstract
The outlet from the blower fan has an extension terminating in a nozzle with converging walls to channel the air flow into a primary duct. Contaminated air is drawn in through an annular ring around this extension, the mixture passing down the duct. Another duct, of larger diameter, is fitted to the end of the first, providing a secondary annular air intake additional polluted air being drawn in by the air flow through the duct. This final mixture is evacuated by opening an end flap. A noise attenuating screen is provided, the assembly also being insulated and suspended on hangers.
