Abstract

The stakes are produced in various sections, e.g. omega double T or Z. The typical omega section consists of an open sided tube (1) with two flanges (2) one on each side of the opening. At equidistantly spaced intervals on the flanges (2) are recesses (3) to accommodate the fencing or training wire. The opening (d) leading to each recess allows the wires (4, 5) to be introduced to the J shaped cut-out which is the extension of the inlet. The lower part of this cut out is slightly inboard of the lines (g, g') at which the curved part of the stake begins. The wire is easily introduced into the recess and by a slight horizontal twist with the hand it is placed in the end of the recess from which it cannot escape unless again twisted by hand.
