Abstract

The device consists of a parallelogram capable of distortion, and comprises a support (1), to one end of which is attached a spring (2) by means of a hook (3). Two arms (4, 5) are hinged on the ends of the support forming the short sides of the parallelogram. At the lower of one of these arms is an adjustment yoke (6), to which is attached the other end of the spring, and an inclined stop (7). These arms are hinged on the implement by means of cross-pieces (8, 9). When the implement is at rest, the parallelogram adopts a rectangular shape with the stop abutted against the implement. When under load, the rectangle is distorted and compressed, the stop having freed the implement. The latter is then at liberty to follow the contour of the ground.
