Abstract

The boom has an arm (1) which can be lifted over plants in the working position. It has a number of vertical rods (9) which carry spray nozzles (8). The arm (1) carries a rod (10) parallel to it. Each vertical rod is suspended from the arm and is connected to the rod (10). A deformable quadrilateral is constituted by rod (9) between arm (1) and rod (10), mounting (2) between arm (1) and rod (10), the other two sides of the quadrilateral comprising the arm (1) and rod (10).
