Abstract

Two cables form a distortable parallelogram, so that the boom can move laterally without angular movement around the longitudinal axis in relation to the sprayer. the ends of the cables are attached to a common winch enabling the boom to be raised or lowered in relation to the sprayer. The other ends of the cables are attached to a device by means of which their effective lengths can be varied, thus causing angular movement of the boom about a longitudinal axis in relation to the sprayer. The cables have elastic properties thus acting as springs.
