Abstract

The water pump delivers fluid to a tee piece clipped to the end of the washer hose. The outlet arms of the tee piece are fitted with spring loaded non-return valves which seal off the washer ducts when the pump is switched off. This prevents water from leaking out of the washer jets during cornering etc., and staining the bodywork. The tee piece is replaceable and can be fitted to any conventional windscreen washer. The conventional non-return valve in the suction pipe can be discarded.
