Abstract

The installation consists of the normal main and dipped headlamps and side lamps, together with fog lamps. The main beam filaments (1), dipped beam filaments (2) and side lamp filaments (3) are connected to the battery (4) via a main lighting switch (5). This switch has a moving arm (8). When in contact in one position (9) the side lamps (3) are fed, in two other positions (10) (11) the dipped and main headlamps are fed. The fog lamp filament (12) is fed via a relay (13). The coil of this is fed from a lead (9a) to the side lamps and there is another switch (6). This has three positions which allow the fog lamps to be off, on by themselves, or with the headlamps. There is also a rear fog lamp filament (17) with indicator lamp (24).
