Abstract
667,880. Vehicle lighting systems. KITE, D. G. Feb. 6, 1950 [Feb. 10, 1949], No. 3013/50. Class 38 (iv). An auxiliary lamp 7, which may be a spotlight or fog-lamp and which may supplement the main lamps 3, 4 or only be brought into use upon failure of the latter through blowing of the fuse 1 through which they are supplied, is connected to one pole of the battery 14 directly through the usual ammeter 5 and to a changeover switch 12, whereby the connection to the other pole of the battery may be effected either directly or over the main lighting circuit through its control switch 6. A switch 15 controls the dip filaments of the head-lamps 3.
