Abstract

The mop comprises a handle (1) and a mop head (3) clamped between two clamping members (4, 5) which ae T-shape so that the foot (6) of the first clamp (4) is hollow and is connected to the handle whilst the foot (7) of the second clamp (5) is designed to engage and be locked in the hollow foot (6) of the first clamp (4). The mop head (3) is clampled between the larger flat faces (10, 11) of the webs (8, 9) of the clamps. The locking means for the two clamps can include a press button (16) which when pressed in allows the outer clamping member to be easily removed from the handle. The foot of the push-in clamping member (5) may be round or square with ratchet teeth on two sides.
