908,266. Clamp fastenings. SPREEUWENBERG'S AANNEMINGSBEDRIJF N.V., P. March 12, 1959 [March 22, 1958], No. 8551/59. Class 44. In a scaffold clamp comprising a body 1 having on each side a cavity 2 with clips 9, 12, the outer edges 4 of the cavities are sharp so as to penetrate the scaffold tubes to prevent slip. The cavities 2 are at right angles to each other. The clip 12 clamping an horizontal tube is held in the horizontal position, for reception of the tube, by a stop 13. The tubes are clamped by parallel strips 16 carried by a pivot 15 on the clip 12 and carrying a tooth 18 adapted to be engaged with teeth 10 on the clip 9. The clamp is locked by turning the pivot 15 which has eccentrics 19 engaging in apertures in the strips 16.
