Abstract

The dry shaver incorporates a motor in a housing driving one or more knives working in conjunction with stationary ones in the shaver head, which has a recess accommodating a spring-loaded locking device in the housing. An actuator is provided in the head to release the locking device, typically in the form of a button, whose inner end (7) bears against the rounded head of a locking pin (9), thrusting this clear of the recess (4) in the head when pressed. The design allows easy removal and fitting of the head, with consequent absence of wear on the locking mechanism.
