Abstract

The folded box is made from cardboard, plastic or other material, for packing and displaying fragile objects, for example eggs. The sheet comprises five panels separated by fold lines. One of the panels (16) has cut out shapes corresponding to the objects being handled. Another panel has angled sections (24) which form dividers when the box is folded. The end flaps have cut-outs forming hooks which are used to clip the panels together in the assembled form. Small flaps on the top of the boxes facilitate stacking. The covering panels can be omitted when the box is to be used only for display.
