Abstract

The battery source (1) is connected by the positive terminal to two terminals of a power assembly (2) with thyristors to control the current. The second terminal (2b) is connected to the positive terminal (3a) of the motor (3). The motor negative terminal (3b) is connected to the assembly negative (2d) via a contactor (4). A heavy current short circuit contactor (5) connects with the other contactor and a negative (2e) on the assembly. There are also thyristors (2f) controlling current. An accelerator pedal (6a) connects power to the thyristors and a key to immobilise the vehicle. The motor drives through a clutch and rear axle reduction gear.
