Abstract
The heat is converted from solar energy in a collector and circulated through the sections of the building to be heated. The collector can consist of radiators containing heat-conductive fluid, with glazing if necessary, mounted on the building, or on the parts of the roof etc. exposed to the rays of the sun, and it can also replace the normal building wall. Alternatively the radiators can be mounted lower than the building, circulation being by thermosiphon action. The heat accumulation equipment can be formed by the wall materials, and the system can be installed in parallel with a conventional heating system operating if the solar heat is insufficient. It can also produce hot water for heating and washing.
