Abstract
The tower tilts on a spindle on the slewing superstructure, while the jib foot section pivots on a further one at the tower head, and the head section when working. A system of stays is included for foot and head sections, so that the crane can work with the foot section at any angle between the vertical and the horizontal, while the head section remains horizontal. When travelling between sites, the tower can rest on the superstructure, with the jib foot section in turn resting on it and the head section retracted inside the foot section. The protruding tip of the head section with the crab overhangs the lorry cab.
