Abstract

A jet of air emulsified with water is heated in order to accelerate the combustible gas by partly releasing hydrogen and oxygen while retaining the ability to moisten the mixture, thus combining fuel economy with improved efficiency and reduction of atmospheric pollution. A vessel is connected directly to the inlet pipe and contains water in which a coil connected to atmosphere is immersed. This projects the emulsified water into a heater vaporising the mixture with partial decomposition into oxygen and hydrogen in the intake pipe. The sealed vessel can have a cover on which is mounted the nozzle connecting the coil to atmosphere, this nozzle being in the form of a needle valve controlling the air flow.
