Abstract

A bicycle pump security lock arrangement includes a cup (2) brazed onto the cross bar and another cup (1) fitted with a key operated lock (12), into each of which the opposite ends of the pump are inserted, with a clip (3) also brazed onto the cross bar to engage the inner end of the handle. When the key is turned, a plunger inside the fixed cup (1) at the handle end slides back away from disengagement with the pump handle, allowing the pump to slide sufficiently to disengage from both cups and the clip. Screw attached clips may be used to support the cups.
