Abstract

The pressure controlled flow regulator is constituted by a hollow tubular body (2), having radial (6) and axial (5) bores which can be connected, the first to a fluid input pipe and the other to a fluid output pipe lead the fluid to a downstream device, and by a slide valve (3) sliding in the axial bore of the body, which on its inner face is acted upon by a variable pressure spring (7) and on its other face is acted upon by liquid pressure conveyed through the output pipe. This valve has at the level of the radial bore, an annular throat (9) which communicates through radial holes (10) with an axial drilling (12) passing into the axial bore of the body. The downstream edge of the throat is arranged to restrict upto closure the axial bore of the body when the downstream pressure increases.
