Abstract

The design is partic. for pressure regulating valves or pressure relief valves. Here the closing element is held by a spring and the valve housing is ventilated by two atm. with high external pressure and it is important that the seal is good against dirty external air. This design achieves this without the need for back pressure or membrane valves. The cover disc is held in the circular groove and the groove has a channel to the spring chamber via a radial channel. The cover disc fits under the vavle identification plate or can be combined with it. The circular groove can be cut as a cylindrical recess in the housing and the cover disc can be a projecting cylindrical boss.
