Abstract

The non-return valve comprises a cup-shaped throttling disc (1) of elastic material, mounted on a perforated support plate (2). The external diameter of the elastic disc is equal to or greater than that of a stepped circular seat rim (3) adjacent to the plate The elastic disc allows easy flow in the one direction, and does not creste a shock-load on closing when it flattens out against the plate.
