Abstract

A clip (4) for securing a wheel trim disc (5) inside the dished portion (1) of a vehicle wheel, fits inside a hole (2) through the vertical face of the wheel. The clip is U shaped with the cross piece (6) bent approx. at right angles to the vertical legs (10). The cross piece has a finger (9) punched from its face at the bottom and a small lug (8) at the top, both of which locate in the hole in the wheel face and grip the edges. The legs are curved (15) at the ends and fit tightly over the rolled edge (19) of the trim plate, securing it. A rubber coating can be applied to the rolled edge.
