Abstract

The plastic wheel trim is moulded with a trim pattern of ribs etc., and has an outer rim under which clips are secured to clip the trim to the wheel rim. The inside section of the trim has an array of moulded stubs (31) over which metal covers (32) are clipped to simulate wheel nuts. The covers are of stainless steel and are secured by tags (37) stamped into the sides, and gripping inside the grooves formed between the stubs and the trim. The whole trim is light, non corrosive and is easily fitted and removed.
