[Also in Group X] A moulding comprises a continuous channelshaped clip 1 of aluminium, steel or plastic, and an enclosing ornamental fabric or other flexible covering 3 the longitudinal edges of which are turned inwardly and upwardly into the interior of the clip and secured by inwardly directed pressed out tangs 10 which both perforate the covering 3 and also engage the carpet 9 or other support, the clip 1 having spaced staggered slots extending inwardly from its opposite edges to render the clip capable of universal bending. The covering 3 may be. adhesively screwed to the clip 1 whilst in a flat condition and later bent to shape. The clip may be first covered with scrim before securing the covering 3.
