Abstract

The vehicle horn comprises a pot shaped casing (12) with the flexible membrane (14) across the open top of the latter, in front of a vibration generator contained within the casing (12). The membrane (14) is held in position by bending the peripheral edge (12a) of the casing inwards to form a lip, with this edge (12a) in metallio contact with the outer peripheral edge (14a) of the membrane (14) and pref. resting flat on the surface (14b) of the latter. A metal ring (20) may be placed over the outer peripheral surface of the membrane (14a) with the edge of the casing (12a) being bent over the ring (20).
