Abstract

A picture or photograph frame is made from a sheet of transparent plastic (1) with a curved surface of relatively large radius. The edges (2)(3) of the sheet are bent over at right angles to increase its rigidity. A retainer (4) made of spring steel sheet or of resilient plastic is curved in its free condition in the opposite direction to the plastic sheet (1). Two opposite edges (5) of the retainer are bent upwards so that they fit under the edges (3) of the sheet (1). When the retainer is pressed beyond its neutral position it conforms to the curvature of the sheet (1) and holds the picture in place. A central knob (6) with a hole permits easy removal of the retainer.
