[Also in Divisions A4 and B6] A spring clip 10 comprises a strip of metal or other resilient material bent into U-shape, and the longitudinal edge of each limb is provided with an inwardly-facing concavity, the two concavities being opposed to one another and each being bounded on either side by edges which are parallel to each other and to the edges of the other limb. As shown, the concavities are in engagement with ridges 16 of book covers 12, but the clips can also be used for framing pictures, or on edges of posters, or panes of glass.
