Abstract

837,787. Mirror frames. SIMONS, J. March 26, 1958 [Dec. 23, 1957], No. 39858/57. Class 11 A frame, to receive a sheet of mirror glass 1, comprises a resiliently deformable plate-like body 2, spaced parallel lip formations 4, 5 on the body to define opposed recesses at the ends thereof to receive opposite end edges of the mirror glass, and one or more flanges 8 on side portions of the body 2 to engage over the side edges of the mirror glass. The body 2 defines a well which receives the mirror 1 and a backing sheet 6 which are inserted or removed by deforming the body. The body may consist of a single plastic moulding and may be provided with a hand hole 3.
