476,548. Picture mounts; memorandum appliances. DIRSCHL, M. June 24, 1937, No. 17543. Convention date, May 29. [Classes 11 and 16] In a combined memorandum sheet and means for mounting a photograph in an album, comprising a fastening strip coated with adhesive on both sides and adapted to be applied to the back of the photograph, and a memorandum sheet provided with a grip and an extension adapted to be guided by the fastening strip so that the sheet may be moved in and out beneath the photograph, the angle d, Fig. 1, between the upper edge of the memorandum sheet g and the extension h is greater than a right-angle. The fastening strip has a central portion d, Fig. 3, adapted to be stuck to the back of the photograph b, and ends f, adapted to be stuck to the album leaf a, and to the photograph, or vice versa. The extension h has a wedge-shaped slot i, narrowing towards the sheet g and lying about the central bridge portion e of the fastening strip. The angle alpha of the edges prevents the sheet g from catching when it is slid back into the chainline position, and the shape of the slot i grips the bridge e and holds the sheet in that position. The projecting grip k is differently coloured on opposite sides so that it may be made to agree with the colour of the album leaf.
