Abstract

The holder is formed from folded metal. One side is recessed to form a location for a square nut. The recess is formed either by a cutout flap connected to the holder on one side only, or by a pressed recess with four sides connected. The base of this square recess has a hole to permit the passage of the bolt, the nut can be held in the recess either by pressure of the plate over which the holder fits, or by an additional fold of metal beneath the nut. The holder is a strip folded generally in a U to give a spring action when forced over the plate.
