Abstract

The shade has recesses in the top, open at the top and undercut at the sides on opposite sides of an upper flange (21), and in which springs (6) on the lower edge of the fitting engage. The springs can have C-shaped arms extending downwards, also a transverse U-shaped leg to secure in position in the fitting. On the opposite side to this leg there can be another one, bent round and with an outer gripping end passing through a slot in the fitting edge towards the outside, and forming an electrical connection with it. Two rectangular hinge stirrups can each have one leg with an elongated hole, by which they are suspended from the fitting, the other leg hinging to the shade.
