Abstract

A vehicle headlamp has a sealing arrangement for the bulb (5) where it passes through the middle of the reflector (2), which includes an outer sleeve (6) with a rim (6a, 6b) which is forked in section, into which fits a tongue protruding rearwards from a resilient sealing ring (8) with a curved surface held onto the curved outside face of the reflector, by two spring clips (10). Around the body of the bulb is a stepped and flanger sleeve (4) with a front shoulder which fits into the hole in the centre of the reflector, and held in position by a spiral spring (11), this spring and the sleeve (4) being housed inside the outer sleeve (6). The electrical leads pass through a block (16) held on the inside of the rear wall of the sleeve (6) by a screw (18) through its centre.
