Abstract

The camera mounting is attached to a fixed support and has a head (14), to which the camera is secured, and which can turn about a vertical axis (2) relative to the mounting. Two arms (17) are articulated to the head (14) to pivot about respective axis (16) adjacent the pivot axis (2) of the head and horizontal relative to the latter. Two crank rods (31) are articulated at the ends of the arms (17) and support a U-shaped horizontal frame (35) between them, with the camera etc. bolted to the frame (35). Each arm (17) is additionally secured to the head (14 by resilient means, e.g. a spiral spring (25) which can be separately adjusted.
