Abstract

Design and mfr. of sandals with interchangeable tops, i.e. quarters and upper bands. The sandal embodies an elastomer sole piece (7) with eyelet straps (3, 4) located on each side and at approximate outer quarter length points (i.e. two on each side) which receive the self adhesive ends of various designs of quarter (9) and upper foot-over bands (8). In mfr. pref. two transverse channels are formed in the sole in each eyelet zone and loops of ribbon with a concealed knots inserted in the channels, and these zones are covered by over-soles (6, 7) and then quarters (8, 9).
