Abstract

242,481. Collins, T. June 2, 1925. Athletic overshoes. - In a non-slipping attachment of the kind described in Specification 14053/08 comprising separate adjustable frame members each formed of four bars pivoted together and shaped to follow the contour of the sole and heel respectively, the two frames being connected by a spiral spring, the attaching means on the sole frame comprises two side clips f, g, Fig. 2, on its outer edge and a single clip h on its inner edge centred between them. In one modification, Fig. 3, employing this method of attachment there are intermediate longitudinal frames controlled by studs R, the whole frame being provided with interchangeable rubber or other suitable studs. In another modification, Fig. 4, a rough faced rubber or other suitable pad covers the sole and heel frame.
