Abstract

The circular building has a central core in which there is a circular lift (2) on which the cars are lifted to the desired floor level. The lift floor can be rotated. The area between the lift well and the outside wall of the building has spaces (3) for cars to be parked in, which leave other areas with a shape that is not suitable for cars (4). In certain of these latter areas the lifting equipment is installed. This comprises three cables running over pulleys (6) which are driven by motors (8). The motors and pulleys are joined by connecting rods (9) with universal joints (12).
