Abstract

1,165,616. Erecting buildings. HOCHTIEF A.G. FUR HOCH-UND TIEFBAUTEN. 3 May, 1967 [4 June, l966], No. 20517/67. Heading E1S. Pre-fabricated floor slabs 1 cast around columns 2 are hoisted into position by a jack 4 connected to cross-members 5 and 6 in conjunction with rods 7 formed in sections 7a-7c and fixed alternately to the member 6 and the member 5 as the member 6 is first raised by the jack and then lowered. The rod sections are stored in trolleys 11 each with a number of cradles 12, which trolleys are moved horizontally on rails 10 via cables 13 and crank mechanism 15. The final section of each rod 7 is fixed to a cable 16 passing round pulley 17 and operated by a manual or electric winch 18. This final section is preferably of a different length in each rod, to facilitate the handling of the rods by a single operator.
