Abstract

A relatively large printing cylinder has around its circumference a number of plate cylinders touched each by two rubber rollers which form the ultimate part of the ink distribution system, with a number of steel and rubber rollers to constitute a good ink distribution. A quick-release assembly on the main-ink distribution rollers makes it possible to take this out or replace it without further adjustment between this roller and the adjacent ones, so as to prevent the development of flat side on the rubber rollers during long standstill periods.
