Abstract

A reflector (1) is embedded in a fixed cover and an intermediate frame (3) supports the front glass and takes up the different inclinations of glass and reflector. To obtain ideal fixing, the lamp is supported approximately at the lamp centre of gravity. The fixing and regulating parts (three) are a threaded rod (4) and nut (5) fixed on a lug (6) fitted to the cover. The end of the rod is balled (8) and indents the part (9) which is of soft plastic and solid with the intermediate frame (3). Using the centre of gravity reduces shocks on the retaining parts and eases adjustments.
