Abstract

The central limb of the copper or aluminium terminal has a vertical tapped hole for a locking screw, of a diameter almost equal to the central limb thickness. The limb is also through bored in a transverse direction, the hole providing a means of fixing the terminal to a projection on the case moulding. In construction, the terminal comprises a rectangular tube with the dividing limb half way along. Through the top walls are threaded holes for a pair of G-clamp cable grips, one at each end. The bared wire ends enter at the open ends and are gripped by the screw clamps.
