Abstract

The stand consists of a rectangular base and two upright sides. The sides have several vertical struts on which are supported horizontal members. The horizontal pieces are removable, and can be placed to allow storage of different diameter objects. The cross pieces are of hollow rectangular cross-section with a slot across one face close to each end. These slots engage over the side of the rectangular hole in the vertical side struts which support the horizontal pieces. The verticals are of U-section form, with holes in the web of the U. An alternative support for the horizontals uses 45 deg. cut-outs in the sides of the verticals. The tops and bottoms of the corner verticals have pads and feet so that the frames can be stacked.
